We believe that gathering together as a family made up of all ages to worship is a crucial element to being a Church family. As part of this we like to support and encourage family worship across our local Churches. We are here for help or advice should your Church need it, we will meet with those that plan and prepare your service to put together a service suitable for your congregation and hopefully they will pick up some good tips and advice along the way. We also have a huge variety of props, costumes, pictures and resources available to borrow. Get in touch with your nearest Family Trust office.
Messy and Sporty Church
Church leaders often ask us to lead the worship at Messy or Sporty Church. We get to join in the fun and talk to the children and their parents beforehand then introduce them to the Bible story chosen for that particular day. We sing, do interactive prayer activities, teach verses from the Bible and get our popular friends, the puppets, to perform. The children often recognise us from their school assemblies and love praising our almighty God with their parents and carers beside them.
We need the support of our Prayer Partners to pray God’s blessing into our daily and future ministry needs. As a Prayer Partner, you will commit to lifting us before God in prayer. We send out monthly prayer letters to our Prayer Partners with specific prayer requests for projects to help you know what to pray about. It is written in God’s word:
‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14 NIV)
We know that your prayers for The Family Trust are heard by God and have a huge impact.
Here at the Family Trust we are passionate about training others in children’s and youth ministry. We offer small group training for local Churches as well as our staff leading sessions at larger area events such as the Toolbox Conference.
