Chequer Tree Camp is over for another year and we are slowly getting back into the swing of office life. We had a fantastic 2 weeks jam packed with games, swimming, outings, Powerhouse, workshops and much more. We even spent 22 hours eating! A massive thank you to everyone that supported us, prayed for us and lent us your children for the week! Photos will be available soon on our residential page. We will hopefully see you at the reunion, details to follow soon.
Applications for Life
This year in our assemblies we will be looking at "things that make you go wow". We will be exploring the stories of miracles in the Bible, travelling around with a memory box which we will be adding to each term. The miracle this term is Jesus turning water into wine, looking at how Jesus cares about the small things in our lives as well as the big things. If you feel that you could help us with our assemblies, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
For fun and friendship, sand and celebration, praise and picnics join us for our Beach Party on 31st October, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm, at Gillingham Methodist Church hall. Every child aged between 6 and 12 is welcome. Reserve your place here
Amy joined us at the beginning of September for a Gap Year. She spent last year with Ashford Vineyard as a Youth & Children’s intern and will be working with our Maidstone team on assemblies, Kingsquads and prayer spaces with CAST. Welcome to the team Amy.
This term we will be looking at The Lion King and applying the story of Simba to our own lives as well as our walk with God. The latest teaching can be found on our resources page. Click here to take you straight there!
